Extreme avalanche risk closes Highway 93 south

Tourism Radium Hot Springs has reported that Highway 93 south (Kootenay National Park) is “closed indefinitely until further notice due to extreme avalanche hazard,” saying that there are reports of extreme winter weather in the national parks.
