Host a musician and get free access to the chamber music festival

The Columbia Valley Chamber Music Festival is seeking host families for our musicians during this year’s festival, from August 9-19 in Invermere, BC. Host families will receive free tickets to all festival concerts and events, as well as the opportunity to host one (or more?) of Canada’s finest professional musicians. Many of our musicians will only be in Invermere for part of the time, so if you can only host for a few nights, that could work out perfectly!

Musicians will be gone for the majority of the day in rehearsals, concerts, and outreach events. The festival will be hosting dinner nightly for all of our musicians, so really, all we need from you is a comfortable place to rest our weary bodies, and perhaps a nice bowl of cereal in the morning.

2012 marks the second year of the festival. The mission of the Columbia Valley Chamber Music Festival is to provide outstanding musical performances to audiences of all ages in the communities of the Columbia Valley in British Columbia.
