Yellow columbine is one of the most familiar wildflowers in Kootenay. Its distinctive shape makes it unmistakable and it cannot be confused with other wildflowers.
Native to mountain meadows, open woods, and alpine slopes of the Rocky Mountains, it is now showing along many of Kootenay’s trails. View a one minute YouTube slide show of a few of the Wild Flowers of Sinclair Creek.
