Pete’s Marina, situated on beautiful Lake Windermere in the heart of the Columbia Valley, has been serving vacationers and recreational home-owners for over 25 years. As an on-water rental/service/sales facility, we offer the largest fleet of easy-to-operate power boats, SeaDoos, wakeboards, water skis and tubes in the area. We are as passionate as you are about boating and want to provide you with everything you need to make your boating and water-play experience absolutely perfect.

You can cruise the lake or fish in one of our rental boats, available for 1, 2 or 8 hours. Add some water skis, wakeboards or tubes and you are set for a great family adventure on the waters of Lake Windermere. If you thrill to the exhilarating feel of the wind rushing past you as you speed across the open waters, why not rent one of our SeaDoos for an hour or two? Life jackets are supplied with all boats.

Pete’s is much more than just a marina, however, and we offer a full range of services to the boat owner. In our mechanical shop in Invermere’s Industrial Park, Pete, a certified marine mechanic with extensive experience, does complete repairs to all makes and models of water craft. As well, we offer detail services including cleaning the hull and the interior —- we’ll even shampoo the rugs for you!

We have secure storage for any size of boat or RV –- temporary storage for visitors to the valley and off-season storage for recreational homeowners. We also offer a complete valet service at the waterfront. When the boating season is over, you can trust us to prepare your boat for winter and to keep it safe, secure and dry until next year. You can rent space in our facility on a daily, monthly or yearly basis.

We winterize all makes and models of outboards, inboards, stern drives and personal watercraft:

Outboards – we stabilize the fuel, fog the engine, grease and change gear oil and disconnect the battery.
Inboards – we stabilize the fuel, fog the engine, drain and refill block with anti-freeze and disconnect the battery. We also drain heater, showers, and ballast systems and fill with antifreeze where necessary.
Stern Drives – we stabilize the fuel, fog the engine, grease and change gear oil, drain and refill block with antifreeze and disconnect the battery. We also drain heaters and showers where necessary.
Personalized Watercraft – we stabilize the fuel, fog the engine, drain and flush engine with antifreeze and disconnect the battery.

We will even shrink-wrap your boat to protect it from the winter elements!

In the spring, just give us a call to let us know when you will arrive in the valley and we will prepare your boat and have it waiting for you in the water when you get here.

We also offer daily and seasonal boat moorage, gas and oil sales, dive services, boating parts and accessories, boat licenses, and there is a boaters exam instructor on-site. We even sell ice cream, pop and ice.
