P0325 – Panorama – Horsethief Lodge
This cozy 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation rental townhome at Panorama Mountain Village’s Horsethief Lodge easily accommodates 8 people. Newly renovated throughout, it is in a ski-in/walk-out location from the Toby Chair and the village gondola. A 5-minute walk takes you to Toby Creek general store, video rentals and more in the village centre.
On the main floor, there is a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and dining area. The living area with stone-faced wood-burning fireplace, TV, DVD and double-sized sofa-bed has access to a south-facing balcony with BBQ. There is also a full bathroom on this level, with stand-up shower.
The second level features a master bedroom with queen-sized bed, a second bedroom with two single bunk bed sets suitable for children and youths only, and a full bathroom.
Fresh linens, towels, dishcloths, soaps, and paper products are supplied. There are hot tubs which are shared with other Horsethief Lodge guests, plus one heated parking space, coin-operated laundry facilities and a ski-wax area in the underground parking space. Plentiful outdoor parking is available elsewhere.
Horsethief Lodge guests have access to the upper village hot pools year-round and in the warmer weather, the swimming and wading pools.
In summer, you may golf at the world-renowned Greywolf Golf Course, take the kids to the Panorama Springs water park and sign them up for the kids adventure camp. You can hike with the family along the many alpine trails, visit the bike park, enjoy tennis, beach volleyball, archery, swimming, white-water rafting and lots more. In the evenings, everybody can participate in movie nights, sing-alongs and campfires.
Winter activities include such sports as skiing down one of North America’s longest vertical descents, cross-country skiing, heli-skiing, tobogganing, dog-sledding, snowboarding and snowshoeing. If you want to hone your skills, there are private and group lessons with a professional instructor at the Panorama Snow School.
