Located in a quiet treed setting, this pet-friendly 2-bedroom+loft, 2-bathroom vacation rental log chalet in the Canadian Mountain Cabins at Kimberley Alpine Resort sleeps 8 –- perfect for groups of families. The main floor offers a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar, a rustic dining area and living area with satellite TV, DVD, stereo, stone-faced wood-burning fireplace and sofa bed. There is also access to a southwest-facing patio with a barbecue, a master bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a full bathroom.
The lower level has a second bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a living area with sofa bed and TV.
Two double beds are in the loft area.
Fresh towels, linens, dishcloths, soaps and paper products are supplied. Your four-footed family member is welcome too, for only $25 per night or $100 for 4 nights or longer.
The property is close to great golfing, the Kimberley Nature Park where you can hike or bike through one of the largest municipal parks in the country, and there is fly fishing, rafting or kayaking and more nearby during the summer months.
In winter, enjoy some of the best downhill skiing ever on 1,800 acres of fabulous powder, or snowshoe, Nordic ski or dogsled. Make some great family memories at the outdoor skating rink with bonfires to warm up by. Great food is served at Montana’s Cookhouse at the ski base and in the evenings you can ski under the stars or listen to live music at the Stemwinder Bar and Grill.
Downtown Kimberley’s Platzl offers shopping and quaint Bavarian-style restaurants serving authentic European cuisine. And after a busy day, come home to your own small piece of mountain paradise in your vacation rental chalet at Kimberley Alpine Resort.
