Situated in a lovely treed area, this 2-bedroom+loft, 2-bathroom vacation rental log chalet in Kimberley Alpine Resort’s Canadian Mountain Cabins area offers comfortable accommodation for 10 people.
On the main floor there is a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar, a cozy dining area and a living area with satellite TV, DVD, stereo, wood-burning fireplace and a sofa bed. The master bedroom with a queen-sized bed is on this level, plus a large southwest-facing deck with BBQ and patio furniture.
The lower level contains the second bedroom with queen-sized bed and a living area with sofa bed and TV.
The loft features two double beds.
Fresh linens, towels, dishcloths, soaps and paper products are supplied.
The resort offers fantastic downhill and Nordic skiing on 1,800 acres of great terrain, plus snowshoeing, dogsledding, skating on the outdoor rink and more. There’s live music at the Stemwinder Bar and Grill and Montana’s Cookhouse at the ski base offers delicious food for the whole family.
In the summer months, there are several championship golf courses in the area, plus hiking and biking in Kimberley Nature Park, one of the largest municipal parks in Canada. Nearby St. Mary’s River offers great fishing, picnics and leisurely walks.
Just 2 km from the resort, downtown Kimberley’s Platzl offers lovely Bavarian-style shops and restaurants. And when the day is done, come home to your own private Canadian Mountain Cabin at Kimberley Alpine Resort, put your feet up by the fire and relax with a cup of cocoa.
