Situated at Trickle Creek in Kimberley Alpine Resort, this luxury 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation rental condo comfortably accommodates 8 people. Its proximity to several championship golf courses and the slopes at the resort makes it a great value for golf or ski groups or families.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has a breakfast bar. There is a dining area and the living area is complete with cable TV, DVD, stereo, gas fireplace and a sofa bed that is perfect for kids or a single adult. Right off the living area is the east-facing balcony with BBQ, patio furniture, your own private hot tub and a spectacular view.
The master bedroom has a full ensuite bathroom and a queen-sized bed. The second bedroom has a double bed and the third has bunk beds.
The underground parkade has storage for skis and golf clubs. The condo is air-conditioned and fresh towels, linens, dishcloths, soaps and paper products are supplied.
A heated outdoor swimming pool and exercise room are available for use year-round and there is a conference room that can be reserved for meetings, etc.
During the winter, Kimberley Alpine Resort really shines, with plenty of powdery snow, lots of sunshine and short lift lines. There are 80 gently rolling and groomed runs and deep bowls offering great skiing for everyone. Snowboard, snowshoe, snowmobile, cross-country ski – even dogsled! And warm family memories are to be made on the lighted outdoor skating rink. When your hands are cold, just warm them up by the fire.
In summertime, the golfing at the Trickle Creek course is the best in the area and there is also hiking and cycling on the miles of trails at Kimberley Nature Park, one of the largest municipal parks in the country. Try some fly fishing or kayaking or rafting as well.
Take some time off to visit Kimberley’s downtown Platzl, where there are quaint boutiques and fine restaurants that serve up authentic Bavarian cuisine. After all, Kimberley is not known as the Bavarian city of the Rockies for nothing.
And when you are tired at the end of the day, come home to your quiet vacation rental condo at Kimberley Alpine Resort and soak your stiff muscles in the soothing warm waters of your hot tub or curl up beside the fire and just let your cares drift away.
