This conveniently situated 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom Invermere BC vacation rental townhouse at Heron Point offers spectacular views of beautiful Lake Windermere and the mountains. Just a short walk to both the sandy beach at Kinsmen Park and the downtown shopping area, it is the ideal getaway for 6 people.
The open-concept ground-floor suite features a fully equipped kitchen with stainless-steel appliances and dining area, and a living area with TV, DVD, gas fireplace and a queen-sized hide-a-bed.
The master bedroom features a queen-sized bed, a TV and a full ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has two single beds and a shared ensuite bathroom.
The south-facing patio, accessed from the living area, offers a BBQ and patio furniture. The property is air-conditioned and there is an ensuite washer and dryer. Fresh towels, linens, dish cloths, soaps and paper products are supplied.
The Heron Point complex has a hot tub, an outdoor BBQ, an exercise room and a fabulous outdoor swimming pool which is open from the May long weekend to the September long weekend.
Kinsmen Park and beach offers hours of summer fun, shady green space, picnic tables, washrooms, playground and a concession during the summer months. There are several championship golf courses in Invermere and the surrounding area. Other summer activities include skydiving, boating, wakeboarding, water skiing, fishing, kayaking and more. Downtown are quaint boutiques, art galleries, outdoor cafes, fine-dining restaurants and a movie theatre.
In winter, you can ice fish, skate or play an impromptu game of hockey on the lake. A short drive will take you to Panorama Mountain Village where there is plenty of snow and a wide variety of winter sports for the whole family. Ski downhill or cross-country, even heli-ski, toboggan, snowshoe and dogsled amid gorgeous mountain scenery.
