This two-level vacation rental townhome at Radium Ridge in Radium Hot Springs BC has 2 bedrooms and 3½ bathrooms and sleeps 9 people in country comfort.
With an outdoor swimming pool for summer-time fun and great mountain views, it is an ideal vacation home for a large family. On the main floor, there is a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area with access to a large east-facing deck furnished with a BBQ and patio furniture. The family living area is complete with a stone-faced gas fireplace, TV, DVD and stereo. On this level, there is also a half bathroom.
On the upper level are two bedrooms, the master having a queen-sized bed and full ensuite bathroom and the second with two single beds. There is another full bathroom on this floor.
On the lower level is a family room with futon and a double/single bunk combination and a full bathroom.
The home is air-conditioned and fresh towels, linens, dishcloths, soaps and paper products are supplied. Note: There is no internet.
Radium Hot Springs is a summer wonderland, with golfing at several 18-hole championship golf courses either right in the village or close by. Kootenay National Park is on your doorstep, with miles and miles of hiking trails and lots of opportunities to view the amazing variety of wildlife. If you are into mountain climbing, Bugaboo Provincial Park offers some choice peaks to test your skills. Take a rafting trip on the Columbia River or a trail ride into the back country. When you are not in the mood for cooking, there are plenty of eating places such as cafes, pizza and ice-cream parlors and fine dining establishments that serve up authentic European and North American cuisine.
Just down the road in Invermere, there are shops and art galleries, restaurants, a movie theatre and 2 waterside parks on Lake Windermere where you can swim, boat, water-ski, picnic and suntan on the sandy beaches.
Wintertime activities include cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and, for some memorable downhill, a short drive to Panorama Mountain Village will take you to some of the best family skiing in North America.
