The Lake Windermere Summer Splash is a glorious annual celebration of everything we know and love about our beautiful lake and the people who care about it and work tirelessly to make it so special.

There will be competitions on the water and the beach, live music and “edutainment.” The activities could be anything from sailboat or stand-up paddleboard races, beach volleyball, swimming races – maybe some surprises too!

The main focus of the celebration is learning about the lake. Answer trivia about the health of the lake, its fish, it’s invasive species and more. Bring the whole family – there’s something wonderful for every age.

This might be the perfect day for a picnic at the park so plan to spend the afternoon at the beach.
