The Puppy Love 5 fundraiser for GALS (Global Animal Lovers) will offer fresh ink by eight talented artists in behalf of our community’s rescued 4-footed friends.

The theme of this year’s 5th annual event is a ‘mini-tattoo convention’ and 100% of the proceeds will go to food and veterinary care for rescued animals.

Organizer, Sarah Eastick, owner and operator of Fire Vixen Tattoos in Invermere and Golden, is hoping to top the $10,300 raised at last year’s event.

Admission is free and everyone is welcome. Even if you’re not quite up for a tat yet, you are welcome to watch, ask questions and place bids in the silent auction.

There will be live music, a bake sale, a barbecue and face painting for the kids (by donation), and magician, Jeremy Coyote, will be doing the magic that he does so well.

One of the silent auction items will be a 2-hour tattoo session with Sarah Eastick (a value of $300).

After Party

8pm to 1am – end the Puppy Love 5 fundraiser event with an after- party for adults (19+) featuring a beer garden and live entertainment by Emily Rawbon, Terez Goulet, Ben Benvenuti, Matt Shelson and DJ Shawn Ridsdale.

Admission by donation.
