The downtown Golden core generally refers to a portion of 9th Ave. N in Golden BC. The weekly farmers market sets up in the downtown core, as well as a portion of the town’s annual Canada Day celebration and various other community events such as the Kicking Horse River Street Sale, etc.

A very picturesque stretch of the main street, 9th Avenue is divided in the centre by lovely flower beds and lamp standards sport flower baskets in the spring, summer and fall seasons.
