Kloosifier Trail
The Kloosifier Trail on the Toby Benches above the Columbia River not far from Invermere is a smooth, single-track ‘roller coaster’ that offers not only great running and cycling but fantastic views of the river and the Invermere hoodoos as well.
The trail is a little over 8 km and if you are looking for something longer, you can join up with the Johnson Trail via the connector. It’s rated as an intermediate ride over hard-packed dirt, with natural hips and dips, and lots of bermed corners.
If you are a cyclist at an intermediate level or a beginner who’s almost there, you will find the Kloosifier to be a moderately challenging trail. Just follow the arrows in a counter-clockwise direction on this well-marked single-track and enjoy the ride! You can’t get lost!
- Access the trailhead by traveling north on Panorama Drive and following the signs for Panorama Mountain Resort
- Panorama Drive turns into Toby Creek Road. Follow to Clover Road (a dirt road)
- The trailhead is located on the south side of Toby Creek Road, kitty-corner to Clover and Toby. You’ll recognize it when you get to the outhouse and kiosk.
