Invermere’s primary daycare facility is operated by the Windermere Valley Child Care Society in a play-based centre that was formerly a school for elementary-aged children. The facility is situated at the top of the hill leading into the downtown section of Invermere, overlooking the valley, the Athalmer district and the museum.

The society offers programs for children in the Windermere Valley from birth to school age as follows:

• Infant and Toddler care from 0 to 36 months
• Group Care for children from 3 to 5 years
• Pre-school programs for both 3 year-olds and 4 year-olds
• An after-school program for school-aged children

There is a large, protected play area outdoors.

The Windermere Valley Child Care Society is a registered not-for-profit organization.
