Wildsight Presents the documentary ‘Trophy’

Apr 8, 2017 7:30 pm

Wildsight file - Trophy

The documentary Trophy is being screened by Wildisight in the David Thompson Secondary School theatre, promising to be an event not soon forgotten as the truth becomes evident that each year, thousands of grizzly bears are killed worldwide for entertainment. Diving deep into the controversy across Canada and the United States, Trophy asks: can we truly justify killing these animals for sport?

Recently, Wildlife Defence League partnered with Lush Cosmetics in filming the documentary Trophy, which looks at First Nations, organizations and dedicated individuals working to end the grizzly bear trophy hunt.

After we view the film, there will be a short discussion.

Admission is by donation.
