The Kootenay Orienteering Club hosts trail running and orienteering events in the east and west Kootenay region.
What is trail running? Trail running is usually done on the soft ground of a dirt trail. It’s invigorating and a great exercise for over-all optimal health.
What is orienteering? Orienteering takes running to the next level, combining fitness, strategy, map reading and navigation skills to find a series of pre-set check points.
