Pynelogs Cultural Centre is a heritage building on the shores of Lake Windermere in Invermere. The facility houses an art gallery which is a venue for more than 150 area artists to display their work to the public in an ongoing exhibit. It is also the home of the Columbia Valley Arts Council which strives to encourage the arts and the artists of the area through hosting a variety of cultural events each year.
Pynelogs also has a Gift Shop and the Allium Cafe which serves seasonal food with a twist, locally sourced and grown. The cafe opens for the season at the beginning of May. One of its attractions is that patrons can enjoy their meals on the deck overlooking Lake Windermere in good weather or indoors surrounded by the gorgeous artwork. It is licensed and family-friendly. Wireless is available. Call to make a reservation: 250 342-0316
Pynelogs Cultural Centre, although not large, is a beautiful setting for small weddings and receptions, birthday luncheons, etc.
